LE MOULIN DES ROUGEATS

Produced using direct seeding under plant cover, the seeds processed and sold at Moulin des Rougeats are the fruit of agronomic work inspired by nature and respect for the environment. Traditional grinding on a stone mill preserves their taste and organoleptic qualities. Le Moulin de Rougeats manufactures, packages (in bags or in bulk) and sells, on request, pastry flours (pancakes, cakes), bakery flours (farmhouse breads, pie shells), oatmeal flours (brioches, Viennese pastries, pizza dough), gluten-free flours (sarrazin, sorghum, corn, lentils, chickpeas), durum wheat semolina (pasta, cakes). In addition, thanks to an oil press and a plate filter, the mill transforms and packages oilseeds into taste-rich virgin oils: sunflower oil (rich in omega 6, for seasoning raw vegetables and salads), rapeseed oil (omegas 3 and 6), linseed oil (omega 3, for seasoning), the three flowers (balanced omegas 3, 6 and 9). Flour and oil can be purchased directly from the estate, by appointment, or over the Internet, and in selected local produce stores in Carcassonne and Narbonne.
